Ritual participation and choice connects an early concern about funeral journeys with an optional ritual room, operational separation and the later proposal for witnessing.

Memory, return and coexistence connects an early wish for an ongoing relationship with the dead to gathering, withdrawal and the pressure of sharing a site.

The relation between them is active: return changes who might be near a funeral; ritual and service requirements change where return can happen. Neither thread contains the other.

These are two threads selected for the test. They touch programme and brief, project position, and construction and systems. Those are coverage lenses, not additional destinations or an order of chapters. Site, theory and precedent would add other relations; this small map does not claim to contain them.
