The threads remain distinct, but their relation has become harder to ignore.

• Within ritual participation, I can distinguish a ceremonial option from an operational requirement. Offering choice still requires particular arrangements.
• Within memory and return, I can distinguish the wish to revisit from the conditions that make revisiting possible. A public invitation also produces questions of privacy.
• Between them, I find a problem of encounter: seeing, passing, joining, withdrawing and returning do not have to coincide.

The evidence is uneven. The consultation makes aspects of ritual planning more specific. The memorial and grief programmes remain less developed. This map records that imbalance rather than giving each thread an equal appearance of completion.

The question linking them can be read as a Story investigation. That investigation proposes a present relation; it does not replace these threads or close the diary.
